Membership

Eligibility

Membership in RIBBA is open to Black business owners, entrepreneurs, and professionals in Rhode Island, as well as allies and supporters who share our mission. Membership applications are subject to review and approval by RIBBA.

Membership Obligations

As a member, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and current information in your membership application
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
• Pay membership fees on time
• Conduct yourself professionally at all RIBBA events and activities
• Comply with all applicable laws and these Terms and Conditions

Use of Website and Services

Events and Programs

Registration and Attendance

Registration for events and programs is subject to availability. RIBBA reserves the right to cancel or reschedule events, in which case registered participants will be notified and offered a refund or credit.

Photography and Recording

By attending RIBBA events, you consent to being photographed or recorded, and you grant RIBBA the right to use such images or recordings for promotional purposes without compensation.

Intellectual Property

All content on the RIBBA website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of RIBBA or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without prior written permission from RIBBA.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The RIBBA website and services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. RIBBA does not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. RIBBA does not guarantee any specific results from the use of our services, mentorship programs, or networking opportunities.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RIBBA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the website or services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to RIBBA in the twelve months preceding the claim.
